This UK-based competition is the longest student design contest in the world. There are 12 different categories, from economic and environmental issues to social struggles. Each category having its own unique prize.

Red Dot Design Awards
The prize? A nice rounded off 10 000 euros! Entry fees depend on the project, it could range between 150 to 450 euros. The competition has three parts, communication design, product design, and design concept.
Apart from the cash prize, and being part of the Red Dot Design yearbook, winning will offer many opportunities as Red Dot has become a recognizable name across the world.
Land Art Generator Initiative Design Competition
This competition is aimed at scientists, engineers, and designers. They offer the opportunity for entrants to submit ideas for larger and site-specific public art that incorporates energy infrastructures.
The competition only takes place every 2 years and offers winners cash prizes of 15 000 to 4 000 dollars.
Industart Design Awards
Open to all designers worldwide but based in Ukraine, the competition has a variety of categories for designers to enter. Some being, transport design, Jewelry or accessories design and furniture design.
The winner will get a 2000-euro cash prize and a scholarship for IED. Entrants can enter with a completed project or a concept.
